Peras app demo: Clawd and the Codex companion above their own usage bars

Demo week · actual Peras app

Pause Claude Code and Codex on purpose

A practical stopping point for your own sessions.

The pixel companions in Peras patrol their usage bars and hold still with a cup when their agent pauses. Their position is decorative; the bar measures usage. Claude Code and Codex keep separate limits and pause controls.

Choose one line per provider

npx peras-cli setup
npx peras-cli codex setup
npx peras-cli set weekly 85 pause
npx peras-cli codex set weekly 85 pause

Run only the provider setup commands you need. Node 18+; review/trust Codex hooks in /hooks and restart sessions. The hooks refuse supported guarded tool use at the configured stop and end the turn.

A plan for the workdays

npx peras-cli pace 20
npx peras-cli budget daily 10 pause

Pacing plans spendable weekly allowance around a reserve. A daily allowance measures observed percentage-point increases from the first reading of the day. Other account activity can spend the reserve; it is not extra capacity.

This is a guard for your own sessions, not a security boundary. Account-wide usage makes attribution approximate; stale readings can delay a pause. Requests in flight and tools outside hook coverage are not stopped.

Free guard, optional app

The CLI, hooks, SwiftBar menu and source are free/MIT. The signed, notarized macOS app costs €4.99 once. Updates included. macOS 13+ and Node 18+; Apple silicon and Intel builds, tested so far on Apple silicon/current macOS. No Peras account for the guard or product telemetry; Polar handles app purchase/download.
